UBTECH ROBOTICS Doesn't Stop Falling, Once Plunges 10% to Set Listing Low

Following yesterday (30th)'s 31.6% slump to close at $62.45, UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) today (31st) opened 0.1% lower before its decline worsened in the early session. The stock once plunged 10%, and bottomed at $56.2, a new low since listing. It last printed at $59, down 5.52%, with 7.8523 million shares traded, involving $448 million.

The Company was listed at $90 per share at end-December 2023, and once rose to an all-time high of $328 in March 2024 before tossing.

Previously, upon the expiration of the 12-month lock-up undertaking of the controlling shareholders of UBTECH ROBOTICS, Zhou Jian, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, entered into agreements with each of Zhao Guoqun, Xia Yongjun, Wang Lin, Xiong Youjun and Xia Zuoquan to terminate concert party agreements.

Although Zhou also undertook not to reduce his 70.4 million H shares of the Company in the coming year, other shareholders were not disclosed to follow him.
