CN 11M24 Total Profits of Industrial Enterprises Above Designated Size Drop 4.7% YoY

In 11M24, industrial enterprises above designated size in mainland China realized a total profit of RMB6.67 trillion, down 4.7% YoY, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced. In November alone, the total profit fell by 7.3% YoY. In 11M24, among the industrial enterprises above the large-scale enterprises, China’s state-owned enterprises achieved total profits of RMB2.04 trillion, down 8.4% YoY; joint-stock enterprises realized total profits of RMB5.01 trillion, down 5.7%; foreign, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises logged total profits of RMB1.61 trillion, down 0.8%; and privately owned enterprises reported total profits of RMB1.96 trillion, down 1%.
