AlipayHK announced that it has become Hong Kong's first e-wallet to be officially incorporated into the Hong Kong government's Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme (PTFSS). With effect from 1 January 2025, when users take designated public transport such as buses and the MTR by using the "EasyGo" QR code in AlipayHK, the amount of public transport fares paid by the users will be counted as part of the eligible public transport expenses. By activating the "Automatic Collection" feature, the subsidy will automatically deposit into the user's account balance on the 16th of each month. AAStocks Financial News |
