CPCA: CN NEV Retail Sales Surge 71% YoY in 1st Half of Dec

According to data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), from December 1 to 15, China's passenger vehicle market retailed 1.083 million vehicles, marking an increase of 34% YoY or 14% MoM. The cumulative retail sales have reached 21.341 million vehicles YTD, representing a YoY growth of 6%. During the period, the retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles (NEV-PVs) surged 71% YoY or 6% MoM to 536,000 vehicles, while the cumulative retail sales have surpassed 10.132 million vehicles YTD, a YoY rise of 43%.
