In response to GREE APPLIANCES (000651.SZ) Chairman Dong Mingzhu's claim that XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) recently paid Gree RMB500,000 in compensation over a patent dispute regarding air conditioners, a Xiaomi spokesperson said that the company has not received any lawsuits related to environmental appliances. Xiaomi Public Relations General Manager Wang Hua also clarified that Xiaomi air conditioners have not committed any patent infringement, and there have been no compensation resulted from patent infringement.
