The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and 6 other departments jointly issued the Implementation Plan of Retail Industry Innovation and Improvement Project. The plan deploys tasks in five areas. The authorities would promote scenario transformation, encouraging integrated commerce, innovating fashion business and advocating curetail, so as to cultivate theme-based commerce and improve community business. The authorities would also promote quality supply, focus on consumers, operate with integrity and give priority to quality and service, optimizing the experience of goods and services.
