PRU Reportedly Weighs Sale of Minority Stake in Eastspring

PRU (02378.HK) (PUK.US) weighs options such as selling a minority stake in its asset management company Eastspring to help expand the group's business, Bloomberg reported. PRU is working with a financial adviser to review Eastspring, and that a potential equity sale could value the company at about US$3 billion, report quoted people familiar with the matter as saying. In addition, one of PRU’s options also includes selling a 30% stake in Eastspring and establishing a partnership to help the group diversify in areas such as private credit and USD denominated assets.
