Macau Govt Confident in Achieving Full-yr 33M Visitors' Target

Macau's Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lei Wai Nong, said that after the introduction of several favorable measures for Macau by mainland China this year, the number of inbound tourists to Macau in 10M24 increased by 28.1% YoY to over 29 million, reaching 87% of the same period in 2019, according to Radio Macau (TDM). Lei was confident that the annual visitor count can reach the target of 33 million. The average stay duration of inbound tourists, overnight visitors, and hotel guests in 10M24 has reached or surpassed the levels of the same period in 2019, Macau Tourism Office Deputy Director, Hoi Io Meng, mentioned.
