Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) is poised to roll out its first generation blade batteries next year, according to China Global Television Network (CGTN). The report quoted Ivan Cao, General Manager of BYD's Central Asia Region for European Automotive Sales as saying during the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) that BYD's new generation blade batteries will enhance driving range and extend battery life. BYD's Blade Battery is a less bulky lithium-iron-phosphate battery, reportedly safer and non-flammable compared to other batteries in the market. AAStocks Financial News |
