CN 3Q NPL Ratio of Commercial Banks Stays Flat at 1.56% QoQ

At the end of 3Q24, the balance of non-performing loans (NPLs) in commercial banks of China amounted to RMB3.4 trillion, up RMB37.1 billion compared to the end of the previous quarter, data released by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NAFR) showed. The NPL ratio of commercial banks was 1.56%, which was basically the same as the end of the previous quarter.
