NEA: CN Total Installed Power Generation Capacity Up 14.5% YoY at End-Oct

As of the end of October, China's total installed capacity of power generation was approx. 3.19 billion kilowatts (kW), up 14.5% YoY, according to data released by the National Energy Administration (NEA).

Of which, the installed capacity of solar power was about 790 million kW, up 48% YoY, while the installed capacity of wind power was about 490 million kW, up 20.3% YoY.

In 10M24, China's total average utilization of power generation equipment amounted to 2,880 hours, which was 128 hours less than the same period last year. Investment in power supply projects of major generation companies across China accounted for RMB718.1 billion, with a YoY growth of 8.3%; meanwhile, investment in power grid projects accounted for RMB450.2 billion, with a YoY growth of 20.7%.
