BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) (002594.SZ) entered into an implementation agreement with the Azerbaijani government for the electric bus project, marking BYD COMPANY's further expansion in the global EV market, BYD COMPANY said. Pursuant to the agreement, BYD COMPANY will set up an advanced commercial vehicle manufacturing base in its Sumqayit industrial park in Azerbaijan, with an expected annual production capacity of about 200 electric buses from 2025 to 2028, providing more eco-friendly and efficient public transportation solutions for Azerbaijan, and contributing to the green upgrading of the public transportation in Azerbaijan.
