The 21st Century Business Herald cited an internal document of TENCENT (00700.HK) (TCEHY.US) as announcing a new executive rotation arrangement primarily involving two vice presidents. Vice President Zhang Xiaochao has been transferred from the Weixin Group (WXG) Basic Products Department to become the head of the Platform & Content Group (PCG) Social Platform and Application Line. Vice President Yao Xiaoguang has concluded his three-and-a-half-year concurrent position at PCG and will continue to serve as the president of the Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) TiMi Studio Group, focusing on gaming business and leading TiMi to accelerate the global business development. Meanwhile, Yao will act as an advisor for the PCG Social Platform and Application Line, continuously promoting and supporting strategic changes in the social platform business and strategic collaboration with the gaming business.
