FSTB, HKMA to Hold Press Con on Infra Bond Issuance at 2:15 PM

The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) will hold a press conference today (15th) at 2:15 pm regarding the issuance of infrastructure bonds. HSBC and Bank of China (Hong Kong) will serve as joint arrangers for this issuance. Financial Secretary Paul Chan had proposed the establishment of an infrastructure bond program in the 2023-24 Budget to better manage the cash flow needs of large-scale infrastructure projects, allowing projects that benefit the economy and people's livelihood to be completed sooner.
