The Macau SAR government has submitted the FY24 budget proposal to the Legislative Assembly, planning to continue implementing a series of welfare measures next year (2024), with an estimated total amount of MOP24.677 billion. Of which, the cash sharing scheme, medical subsidy plan, residential electricity subsidy plan, and continuing education development plan are expected to have a total expenditure of MOP8.514 billion.
