TRACKER FUND (02800.HK) held its 25th anniversary celebration. As of October 2, the fund's assets under management (AUM) reached $178 billion, marking a fourfold increase since its initial offering. Financial Secretary Paul Chan noted that he is confident the growth in Hong Kong's ETF market will go on with continuous innovation and the establishment of more mutual access with the mainland and international markets. Chan also mentioned in his speech that since ETFs were included in the Southbound Stock Connect in 2022, the average daily turnover of ETFs in 1-3Q24 has increased to around $13 billion.
