As the order delivery is limited by production capacity, and the output of the two factories in Jinhua City are basically saturated, LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) is stepping up its efforts to build a new plant in Hangzhou, aiming to put it into production in 1H25, Chinese media quoted LEAPMOTOR as saying. It is reported that the third plant in Jinhua is under preparation, and is expected to commence production by end-2025 or early-2026, with a production capacity of up to 1 million vehicles, indicating that there is sufficient protection for future production capacity.
