HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) is interested in selling its French life insurance subsidiary, HSBC Assurances Vie, with 6 companies having submitted offers, according to French media.

After months of approaches, six candidates interested in acquiring HSBC Assurances Vie have been finalized at the end of October, including PCE Assurances, BNP Paribas Cardiff, Groupama SDIG Insurance and Malakoff Humanis, which have already submitted acquisition letter of intent, pursuant to the report.
