HKMA: Official Foreign Currency Reserve Assets Ebb to US$421.4B at End-Oct

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced that the official foreign currency reserve assets of Hong Kong amounted to US$421.4 billion as at the end of October 2024, a slight drop of 0.3% from US$422.8 billion at the end of September. There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at end-October and end-September. The total foreign currency reserve assets of US$421.4 billion represent over 5 times the currency in circulation or about 39% of Hong Kong dollar M3. AAStocks Financial News |
