Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to US President-elect Donald Trump on phone call, Xinhua News Agency reported.

A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs answered questions from reporters late last night (6th) regarding the results of the US presidential election, saying that China respects the choice of the American people and congratulates Trump on his election as president.
