BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)(002594.SZ) said in a conference call that the global product launch and Mexican market launch press conference for BYD's first luxury smart pickup truck, the BYD SHARK, was held in Mexico City. The new pickup truck is priced at approximately RMB416,000. It was mentioned at the meeting that the Brazilian production base complex will consist of three factories, including electric bus and truck chassis production plant, a new energy passenger vehicles (NEV-PVs) production plant, and a lithium iron phosphate battery material processing plant, with a planned annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles.
