China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced that the prices of gasoline and diesel in mainland China will be reduced by RMB145 and RMB140 per ton respectively from 00:00 on 7 November, in light of recent international oil price changes and in accordance with the prevailing pricing mechanism for refined oil products.

The three major oil operators PetroChina, Sinopec and CNOOC, as well as other crude oil processors, must organize the production and transportation of refined oil products to ensure a stable supply to the market and strictly enforce national pricing policies.
