MEITUAN-W Charts ~100 Orders of Daily Delivery Vol. via Drone Route at SZ Futian Port

MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)'s Meituan Drone had earlier launched the mainland China's first regular drone delivery route in a port scenario at Shenzhen Futian Port. The company said that the daily delivery volume on this route reached nearly 100 orders during holidays and other periods. As of September, Meituan Drone opened 43 routes in cities such as Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Nanjing, with an aggregate of over 360,000 orders completed covering service scenarios such as offices, communities, scenic spots, municipal parks, medical care, campuses, and libraries, and can deliver more than 90,000 types of goods. Mao Yinian, Vice President of the Group and Head of the Drone Business, attended the first Super Terminal Expo and expressed his hope to engage in more exchanges with industry peers around the world through participation in the exhibition. He also hopes to take advantage of the Hong Kong government's promotion of the low-altitude economy and the opportunity to improve drone regulations to bring drone delivery services to Hong Kong as soon as possible, subject to compliance, thereby providing Hong Kong users with more convenient and efficient services.
