JD-SW's Ochama Sets up Automated Warehouse in Poland

JD-SW (09618.HK) (JD.US)'s European omni-channel retail brand Ochama announced the establishment of a new automated warehouse in Poland, with the goal of improving business operating efficiency and customer experience in the region. The new warehouse, located near the border between Poland and Germany, covers an area of about 27,000 sq.m. It adopts a flexible goods-to-person system, which triples the efficiency of traditional operations. JD.com said that after the establishment of the new warehouse, Ochama can achieve 48-hour delivery in Poland, whereas some orders can enjoy same-day delivery service. The 48-hour delivery rate in Germany can also be heightened to about 80%. In 10M24, Ochama's orders in Poland and Germany soared by 284% YoY, the group said. The new warehouse, together with Ochama's other five warehouses in the Netherlands and France, will be able to serve customers in 24 European countries. AAStocks Financial News |
