Geely Holding Group Chairman Eric Li stated at a forum that Geely's next-generation methanol passenger vehicles (PVs) will adopt the methanol-hydrogen powered ultra-methanol electric hybrid technology.

This technology allows for flexible mixing of methanol and gasoline in any proportion within the same fuel tank. Combined with a PHEV plug-in hybrid system, it can enable multiple energy usage modes including methanol, electric, and gasoline.
