XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) had earlier announced the opening of the Xiaomi Smart Home Appliances Experimental Center in Wuhan, Chinese news broke. At the opening event, the group's television unit revealed that it will release five new flagship home appliance products, including TV sets, air conditioners, washing machines and refrigerators tomorrow (29th). The Xiaomi Smart Home Appliances Experimental Center purportedly cost RMB120 million to build with a total area of over 10,000 sq.m. It is a comprehensive product development base integrating R&D, testing and offices. The laboratory center is equipped with 47 laboratories, which can comprehensively test and verify various dimensions of product performance and durability during the pre-research and trial production stages of the product.
