The construction of XPENG AEROHT flying car manufacturing base of XPENG-W (09868.HK)(XPEV.US) officially commenced yesterday (27th). The base is located in the Guangzhou Development District, with a first phase covering an area of approximately 180,000 sq.m. It is planned to have four major production workshops for composite materials, connections, painting and final assembly, as well as ancillary facilities. The base is reportedly the world’s first flying car factory to use modern assembly lines for large-scale mass production. It will be used to produce the flying body units of the split-type flying car "land aircraft carrier", with a planned annual production capacity of 10,000 units. AAStocks Financial News |
