More than a million Hong Kong and Macau residents are now using its mini programs every month, TENCENT (00700.HK)'s WeChat said.

Xue Kaiyong, the head of WeChat Mini Programs' offshore business, said that the mini program transaction order volume in Hong Kong and Macau surged by over 1x YoY in 9M24, with the turnover increasing by 70% YoY.
