Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) announced that according to the present forecast, Tropical Cyclone Trami will enter within 800 km of Hong Kong tonight (24 October) to tomorrow morning (25 October). The Observatory will issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 between 10 p.m. tonight and 4 a.m. tomorrow morning. Depending on the movement of Trami and the change in local wind conditions, the Observatory will assess the need for issuing the Strong Wind Signal, No. 3 on Friday later and at first on Saturday.
