SITC (01308.HK) announced the unaudited operating statistics for the nine months ended 30 September 2024. Revenue increased by approximately 19.2% from approximately US$1.769 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2023 to approximately US$2.1085 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2024. During the period, the container shipping volume amounted to 2.5504 million TEUs, representing an increase of approximately 11.1% as compared to 2.2952 million TEUs for the corresponding period in 2023. The Group’s average freight rate was US$691 per TEU, representing an increase of approximately 9.1% from US$ 633.1 per TEU for the corresponding period in 2023. The Company also announced that it has resolved the declaration and payment of the Special Dividend of HK40 cents (equivalent to US5.15 cents) per ordinary share of the Company.
