Jian Fu, President of Midea International at MIDEA GROUP (00300.HK), stated that the company currently has sales subsidiaries in over 30 major markets and plans to expand the number to over 40 next year. The main targets include developing countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey, Poland, and Morocco, which are seen as having humungous growth potential. Of the 43 manufacturing bases, 22 are in overseas markets. While the base in Indonesia is expected to start production in 1Q25, the company is also exploring the possibility of establishing bases in Mexico, Belarus, and Poland to address the shift in focus of overseas manufacturing.
