After listening to the sore points and suggestions of merchants, Meituan Waimai (Meituan Takeaway)'s marketing tools are optimized in 3 major directions in the hope of helping merchants to reduce marketing costs, improve the efficiency of traffic utilization, promote healthy competition in the industry and stimulate the new vitality of the catering market, according to the announcement made by Meituan Takeaway.

Among which, the traffic recommendation weakens the marketing activity factor and encourages catering businesses to refocus on their products and services; and the “activity richness” scoring module is removed to guide merchants in configuring marketing activities according to actual needs.
