Lui hoped that the SFC could continue to maintain the resilience of Hong Kong's financial market, enhance its influence and image in the family of nations, and promote the market's transformation and reform towards green finance and sustainability, meanwhile seeking internal advancement in streamlining its workflow through the use of innovative technology.

Reviewing his past work, Lui expressed satisfaction and did not have any regret or pity, describing the 6-year period as fast and fulfilling, and thanking the team for their concerted efforts in implementing various initiatives.
