CKH HOLDINGS: 3 UK, Vodafone UK Merger Transaction Expected to Close in 2025

CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK) held an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) today (17th) to vote on the merger transaction between its Three UK and Vodafone UK. The number of shareholders voting in favor of the resolution accounted for 2.459 billion shares, representing 99.9815% of the total number of shares, and the resolution was passed. The UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) issued a preliminary, but not definitive, conclusion on the transaction early September suggesting that the entire merger transaction could be completed in 2025 subject to the fulfillment of the precondition of the JV injection agreement, Group Co-Managing Director and Finance Director Frank John Sixt said.
