<US Mkt>DJIA Ends Up 337 Pts, Logging New Closing High; Nvidia Up 3%+

The DJIA stretched its upswing after the opening bell and even concluded at an all-time high of 43,077, up 337 pts or 0.8%. The S&P 500 added 27 pts or 0.5% to close at 5,842. The Nasdaq hiked 51 pts or 0.3% to 18,367.

Nvidia (NVDA.US) reverted up on Wednesday, rising more than 3% at close. Dutch chipmaker ASML (ASML.US) continued to subside on Wednesday after unexpectedly releasing disappointing 3Q results a day early, diving another more than 6% at close, making it the weakest-performer under the Nasdaq 100.

So far, about 50 components of S&P 500 have announced their 3Q results, among which 79% have beaten expectations. Morgan Stanley (MS.US) reported 3Q earnings and revenue that topped Wall Street’s forecast, and the stock swelled about 7%.
