Alibaba's AIDC Launches 1st Translation Foundation Model for Commercial Use

The latest Marco MT, a translation foundation model developed by Alibaba International Digital Commerce (AIDC), supports 15 mainstream global languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean and French, said Kaifu Zhang, vice president of AIDC, a subsidiary of BABA-W (09988.HK)(BABA.US), and head of the business' artificial intelligence initiative.

The model has been released on the official AI website Aidge under AIDC and is available to users worldwide.
