Taobao, an e-commerce platform under BABA-W (09988.HK)(BABA.US), announced the expansion of its overseas free shipping zone to ten countries and regions, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan , South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions in China. The aim is to provide better logistics services for the upcoming Double 11 Shopping Festival and ensure that overseas consumers can receive their goods in a timely manner. This expansion will be achieved through close collaboration with Cainiao, whereas Taobao will upgrade its logistics services to fully ensure the free shipping experience during the Double 11 period. The four new countries covered by the free shipping service are Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, bringing the total number of countries covered by Taobao's free shipping service to ten.
