The market focus is likely to shift from policy to fundamentals, while market dynamics will return to stock-picking, HSBC Global Research issued a research report saying. The broker detailed 6 sectors that will benefit from the stimulus.

Of which, for consumers, sub-sectors such as baijiu, home appliances and furniture will benefit from future consumption stimulus and trade-in consumption subsidies. For consumer electronics, the supply chain of this sector is well positioned to benefit from the consumption stimulus. For industrials, broad equipment renewals are expected in 2H24-2025.
