Oil prices were squeezed in the early Asian trading session after US media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had agreed to limit retaliatory action against Iran to military targets and would not attack Iran's oil or nuclear facilities.

New York oil futures for November delivery last dived 2.8% to US$71.8 per barrel, whereas Brent oil futures for December delivery last faded 2.7% to US$75.41 per barrel.
