Kelvin Wong Appointed as SFC Chairman for 3 Yrs

The Chief Executive has, pursuant to the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571), appointed Kelvin Wong as the Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for a term of 3 years from 20 October 2024 to 19 October 2027, according to the Hong Kong government's announcement. Wong was a Non-Executive Director of the SFC from 2012 to 2018 and a member of the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange from 2007 to 2013. He is currently the Chairman of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC). Wong will continue to serve as the Chairman of the AFRC up to 31 December 2024. AAStocks Financial News |
