When introducing the implementation of a package of incremental policies during a press conference at the State Council Information Office, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Chairman Zheng Shanjie stated that in response to new situations and issues in the current economic operation, China is intensifying the introduction of a package of incremental policies to promote a sustained economic recovery.

In view of the downward pressure in economic operations, Zheng noted that it is necessary to strengthen counter-cyclical macro policy adjustments, with all sectors continuing to exert effort and provide more support.
