Microsoft's Game Studio '343 Industries' to be Renamed as 'Halo Studios'

Microsoft (MSFT.US)'s subsidiary "343 Industries", the game studio responsible for developing the sci-fi shooter game series "Halo", announced that it will be renamed as "Halo Studios". Studio head Pierre Hintze revealed that the group is developing a variety of new games, whereas the future "Halo" titles will be developed using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5, in which TENCENT (00700.HK) has investment, instead of using 343 Industries' Slipspace engine.
