CN MOC: CN Files WTO Lawsuit Against Canada's Additional Tariffs on EVs, Steel & Aluminum Products

Canada's 100% additional tax on EVs imported from China officially came into effect on 1 October, and imposed a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum products imported from China on 22 October.

China has filed a WTO lawsuit against Canada's unilateralism and trade protectionism act, and initiated an anti-discrimination investigation into Canada's restrictive measures in accordance with the law, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) said.
