CN Handset Shipment Vol. Elevates 26.7% YoY in Aug

The shipment volume of cell phone in the Chinese market for August amounted to 24.047 million, up 26.7% YoY, according to statistics released by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). Of which, 5G mobile phones accounted for 19.754 million units, up 26.3% YoY, representing 82.1% of cell phone shipments in the same period. In 8M24, the shipment volume of mobile phone in the Chinese market was 195 million, up 16.6% YoY.
