BIDU-SW (09888.HK)(BIDU.US)'s Baidu AI Cloud announced at the "2024 Baidu Cloud Intelligence Conference" that it will comprehensively upgrade the AI Heterogeneous Compute (AIHC) platform to Version 4.0. The upgraded AIHC focuses on the computing power requirements of the entire journey of implementing a foundation model, and provides enterprises with an "abundant, fast, stable and economical" AI infrastructure in the four major areas: cluster creation, development experiments, model training and model inference. To solve the problem of a shortage of computing resources, AIHC 4.0 has made key upgrades to its "multi-core mixed training" capabilities, achieving 95% multi-core mixed training efficiency on a 10,000-chip-scale cluster and reaching the industry-leading level.
