Alibaba Cloud Generative AI Platform Bailian Serves 300K+ Customers in Total

BABA-W (09988.HK)'s Alibaba Cloud held its annual flagship event, the Apsara Conference, announcing that its self-developed Tongyi foundation model served more than 300,000 customers with its generative AI platform Bailian, a significant increase from about 90,000 customers in May 2024. Alibaba Cloud said that it can provide customers in industries such as auto, game, travel and IT with a better customer experience and mature innovative solutions through the Tongyi foundation model and its scalable global cloud infrastructure. In addition, Alibaba Cloud also announced its cockpit-driver convergence foundation model solution for auto applications, which was co-developed by Alibaba Cloud, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) and BABA-W's smart cockpit solution provider “Banma”, and will be rolled out to Chinese automakers, so as to provide car owners with a better interactive experience.
