LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) started manufacturing AI servers in Pondicherry in southern India, involving the production of large and powerful computer products that are no longer limited to laptops and smartphones, Bloomberg reported. The group will also open facilities in the Bangalore region, which will include a laboratory focusing on AI. The servers perform the computations needed to run services including generative AI, made famous by apps such as ChatGPT, sources divulged.
