CN Cyber Security Association: 62 Apps Like JD & Taobao Complete Personal Data Compliance Agreement

In order to regulate the collection and use of personal information by apps, protect the interests of personal information, and promote the formation of a decent environment in which the whole society works together to safeguard the security of personal information, the Cyber Security Association of China organized and directed the operators of a total of 62 apps in 10 categories, including online shopping and map navigation, to complete compliance, rectification and optimization of the collection and use of personal information, focusing on issues such as out-of-range collection of personal information, over-adjustment of sensitive permissions, inconvenient permission setting and account cancellation, etc., in accordance with China's laws and regulations, according to the announcement made by the Cyber Security Association of China. A total of 62 apps completed compliance and rectification of the collection and use of personal information, including JD-SW (09618.HK), Taobao, Vipshop Holdings Limited (VIPS.US), iQIYI, Inc.
