BABA-W (09988.HK), after being admitted to the Southbound Stock Connect, opened 2.17% higher at $80 this morning (10th), with 14.4305 million shares traded before the market opened, involving $1.136 billion. Alibaba cited the announcements of Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange that the ordinary shares of the company traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange were included in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, which are effective today (10th).
