Report: Lu Weibing Becomes President of XIAOMI's Smartphone Dept, while Zeng Xuezhong Presides Int'l Dept

According to STAR Market Daily, XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) released an internal email announcing the appointment of Group President Lu Weibing as President of the Smartphone Department, reporting to Lei Jun, Chairman and CEO of the Group. Meanwhile, Group Senior Vice President Zeng Xuezhong has been appointed President of the International Department and will continue to oversee the Internet Business Division, reporting to Group President Lu Weibing. Lu Weibing was previously Xiaomi's Group Partner, Group President and President of the International Department, where he managed mobile phones, ecosystems, major home appliances and related businesses in China and India. Zeng Xuezhong was the senior vice president of Xiaomi Group and president of its Smartphone Department, focusing on the R&D and production of mobile phone products.
